I love it when things just start falling into place and suddenly "normal" becomes redefined without any fanfare at all. It honestly sort of gives me chills. I am a firm believer in the "make change with the "little people" (kids, families, neighborhoods), and make change with the world" theory. And this is sort of one arm of that. Make something normal, everyday, common and legitimate, and suddenly it won't seem so scary, so unusual, so outlandish, or so intrusive.
Way to go Merriam-Webster. And way to piss off the idiots.
